Kyle McCarter – Business leader, State Senator, former St. Clair County Board member and family man – is running for Congress in the 15th Congressional District of Illinois.
Leading by Example on Term Limits.
From the beginning, Kyle has been clear: Term Limits are necessary for public servants at all levels. As a county board member and a state senator, Kyle pledged to term limit himself. He honored that pledge. Believing public service is not a career, Kyle is a strong advocate for Term Limits and will continue to keep his promise in Congress.
Real Reformer for Illinois.
Often quoted as saying, “I was for reform before reform was cool,” Kyle has been reform leader in Illinois for more than 16 years. He has led the charge against out of control property taxes; he has been a tireless supporter of Second Amendment rights; and Kyle has fought for less government and freedom for families.
An Economic Driver.
As an entrepreneur since graduating college from Oral Roberts University in 1984, Kyle is job creator. He owns and operates two manufacturing companies in Illinois and understands the importance of a strong economy and job growth. Kyle believes Illinois families are best served with good jobs generated by a strong economy.
Dedicated to their Faith.
Kyle and his wife, Victoria (Ramatowski), travel to Kenya several times a year to work with Each One Feed One, an international, faith-based organization delivering care and education to orphans and widows through proven, creative, and sustainable solutions. When they are not working with orphans in Kenya, they serve as leaders for Mercy Ministries, an organization that helps young women who struggle with issues such as eating disorders, depression, self-harm, and drug addiction.
Kyle and Victoria have been married for 31 years and have two sons, Austin and Zach, and two wonderful daughters-in-law, Catherine and Claire.
